asli khan kaun? or Who can be more irritating on national television.
why exactly are shahrukh and aamir khan raining metaphorical andaas on each other on every channel? as if there were'nt enough people to do it for them.SRK says something sarcastic, with that cutely cheeky smile of his, and the next day aamir tries to hit back with his (unfortunately less cute) cheeky smile. They've been ruffling each others feathers for quite some time now and have never been able to take each other normally...but now it's 'let's wash our dirty linen in public' time. ugh.
ha...now for psycheeelogical analysis....both guys are(as everyone knows) actors who became famous, became The Khans, at roughly the same time. However, SRK 's initial struggle was obviously more difficult. the city was completely alien .he started in a workplace which gave greater opportunities to the insiders. aamir had it easier, being someone who belonged to the industry already.but they both worked hard and became jaw droppingly successful. but its possible that their mutual resentment has its root in this beginning struggle.they have created different public personas for themselves and now feel irritated because of the very perceptions they themselves have created.aamir has made 'an aamir khan film' into a brand name, synonmous with 'thinking', watchable cinema and purposely restricted his projects to create exactly this kind of aura.he does'nt attend award ceremonies, does'nt talk to the press unless he has to promote a film..so he gets the accolade he's been aiming for..the only Actor (versus Star)among the big Khans.but the problem is, that inspite of giving such huge hits, being so commercially and critically successful, people still give more recognition to SRK as the most bankable, the warhorse who's the king of bollywood, who can produce a hit at any time he wants.which infuriates aamir and should make SRK very happy, but it does'nt..because, given a good and well written role, he's an actor, yaar .he is'nt just limited to the 'Raj' cutout that Yashraj resurrect whenever they desperately need a hit.the fact that he's made hardly any movies that have really used him as an actor probably stings him in a sensitive place.Unlike aamir, who has . hence the sarcastic comment answered by the snide joke.
that is (if stupid) still understandable.i mean the rest of us would probably be ludicrously happy to have so much money and so many people praising you(be it for whatever reason) but as any auntie can tell u, humans perfected the mechanism of not being satisfied with what they have.silly resentments and jhagdas add some entertainment to life. As long as it does'nt bore the rest of us.
